About
As creatures of our God & King, followers of “Jesus as the Way”, and folks committed to the Spirit’s counsel in our lives, we have a crucial responsibility to educate our children in this way. Our mandate is to “tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power, and the wonders He has done”. (Psalm 78:4). It is what is referred to today as a developing a Biblical worldview.
This online journal is an avenue for sharing and conversing information, opinion, and meditation around the philosophy, perspective, and practice of Christian education. It is the author’s conviction that there may be no more vital arena vying for the attention of the body of Christ than the spiritual, academic, moral, and behavioral development of our children. The words of God contained in the “Shema” (Deuteronomy 6:4-9) are timeless in their significance and application to our culture today. This journal is an attempt to share this perspective and promote the cause of Christian education in our day.
Please join me in the conversation and pilgrimage . . .
